Google Pays Rave

Well, last week I received my first payment from Google Adsense. It kind of came as a surprise since they had spanked me on this blog by dropping my page rank from a PR2 to a PR0. Also after hearing stories of people getting dropped from Google after reaching their pay out amount didn’t give much confidence of being paid.

However I was pleasant surprised to see my Google payment in my bank account when I checked looking for something else. It was great seeing that payment. Now if I could only get my page rank back.

Affect Of The Google Downgrade Rant

Well, I am starting to feel the affects of Google’s downgrade of this blog from a PR 2 to a PR 0. This blog is no longer approved on Blogging Ads and I’ve noticed some reviews on PayPerPost that this blog would have qualified for before, but now doesn’t.

I had hoped the once my other blog got a page ranking that I could use both blogs to make some decent money doing reviews, but it seems that the other blog will just be taking up the slack that this one lost.

Google Giveth And Google Taketh Away Rant

Well, a few weeks ago I was happy to see that Google had finally came out with the Page rank updates. I finally got a ranking for my That Says It All blog and this blog was upgraded from a PR 1 to a PR 2.

To my surprise however a couple of weeks later I find that this blog is now rank a PR 0. I was also surprised to find that that down grade maybe due to doing paid reviews. Does Google not want us to make money this way? Doing paid reviews is the way I make most of my money from this blog. It certainly isn’t from the Google ads.

The lower page rank won’t stop me from making money from this blog, but it will lower it. I guess now that my other blog is ranked a PR 2 it will just have to take up the slack.

Google Page Rank From Rant To Rave

I did a post a few days ago Ranting not having a PR change. I wasn’t upset or anything, I was just wondering when or if there would be any more updates and if my blogs would get one. I don’t have any high ranking sites that could be knocked down, but I did have a blog that had no rank at all and I would have been happy if it was even given a zero ranking.

Well, I’m happy to tell you that I did get a PR update. Both blogs that I post to regularly have been rank a PR2. Not to big a deal, but it does give me a chance at getting more paid to post opportunities, which gives me a chance at making more money. So thank you Google for the PR update and I’ll be trying for higher the next update.

Google Page Rank Rant

I was just reading a few blogs and it seems that some big named bloggers are upset about Google dropping their Page Rank. There has been a long wait for Google to update their PR and now it seems that they are only concentrating on the big names.

How is this going to affect the smaller sites and blogs? I don’t know. I do know that I have been waiting for the update and haven’t seen anything. I have one blog that doesn’t have a ranking at all. Even a 0 ranking would be better than no ranking. I’m just wondering when will us little guys know our rankings.

Word around is that Google will be doing their page rank thing soon. Everybody that blogs or have a website wants a higher page rank unless you're already at the golden 10, I know I want mine higher. Higher page rank can mean more money also.
