Grow Your Writing Business Rave

Grow Your Writing Business”, is a blog written by Yvonne Russell. Yvonne is a freelance writer and her blog not only shows you ways to make money from your writing, but also gives you helpful tips. Her posts are very informative and helpful, she is very giving with her knowledge. You can tell a lot of research has gone into her posts.

I mentioned that Yvonne is helpful and to that point she has started a new on going segment at her blog called “Just Ask”. Yvonne says you can ask about anything related to growing your writing business, but it seems like Yvonne is willing to answer just about any question you might ask. Judging from the first question and Yvonne’s answer I can tell this is going to be a great segment.

Personally I think Yvonne is one of the nicest people I have run across since I have started blogging. She genuinely what’s to help people achieve their goal of growing their writing business and any other thing they what to achieve.

Okay now, why am I doing a rave on growing a writing business when this blog is supposed to be about online money making opportunities? Well, first of all you can run a writing business online and second Yvonne’s blog could help you with your writing for opportunities like Helium and Associated Content. Plus I want this blog to grow to encompass more then just money making opportunities that I’m in.

Visit Yvonne’s “Grow Your Writing Business”, and learn how you can make some money from your writing.

Smorty Rave

I just joined this service called Smorty. Smorty connects advertisers with bloggers who write opinion posts about those advertisers for pay. The posts must have a link back to the advertiser’s site using the anchor text and link that the advertiser provides. So, bloggers get paid for blogging and advertisers get to advertise on blogs. With blogging being one of the most popular things to do now and blogs receiving hundreds even thousands of visitors a day, it becomes a win, win for both sides.
Granted there are other services out there like Smorty that pays you to review advertisers. Does Smorty offer anything different than the others? I don’t think so. But if you blog for money you want to join as many of these services as you can incase you don’t get assignments from one for awhile, which means you’re not making money, you have another to fall back on. Smorty can be one of those resources.
Why not join Smorty now and get paid to blog.

Money Making Online with a 13 Year Old Rave

This blog is very impressive especially taking in consideration it’s being kept by a 13 year old kid. Carl Ocab seems to be very insightful and knowledgeable on how to run a blog and get traffic to it. I’m over three times Carl’s age and I’m finding he has allot he can teach me.
He’s even running a review exchange that will not only get him more traffic, but more links as well. How smart is that. I like this kid’s blog and I plan to keep an eye on it. This is the link Carl wants to be use to link to his site “Make Money Online”. Check it out this blog “Make Money Online with a 13 Year Old”. I think you’ll like it.

Blogsvertise Rave

I just joined a site called "Blogsvertise". What Blogsvertise does is pay you to talk about their advertisers in your blog. Unlike other programs that state your blog has to be two or three months old before you even able to be considered for their program “Blogsvertise ask that your blog be at least 30 days old. You can even make money from your blog if it’s less than 30 days even fairly new. It will be put on probation status and get a reduced rate of pay.
As I said I just joined “Blogsvertise so the real judgment is still out for me. I will be able to tell more once I get some assignments and get paid. But I do like what I’ve heard about “Blogsvertise, and what I’ve read at their web site. “Check them out.

Programs I’ve Been Paid From Rave

I just wanted to take some time to go over the some of the programs I am in that have paid me. I will also give you links to my proof of payment. I have done posts on these programs individually, but I just want to list them all in one post.

Media Dollarz pays you to sign-up for offers, but they have lots of survey sites you can sign-up to for free. They also have no minimum payout limit so you can withdraw whatever you have in your account whenever you want to. They also give you $2.50 for verifying your phone number. Here is a screen shot of my payment.

Mylot pays you to post and reply to discussions. This is easy money especially if you like talking in forums. Why not get paid for it? You can see my proof of payment Here.

You can Send Earnings Gives $3 just for joining and they have several ways to earn money. They send you 2 cent e-mails, you just click the links to earn, you can sign-up for offers some of which are free and trial offers, they have $1 surveys of which you can take one each day and thay have games you can earn from. I am on my way to my second payment here. You can see my proof of payment Here.

StormClix is a part of StormPay. StormPay is an auction site and a payment processor (like PayPal). Once you join StormPay you also become a member of StormClix. The money you make from StormClix is withdrawn into your StormPay account and you can then withdraw it to your bank account. StormClix pay you just for clicking ads and watching them for 20 seconds. Most ads are worth 1 cent, but I have seen some as high as 3 cents.
I have been paid twice from StormClix and you can see my proof of payment Here.

Cash4Offers pays you 5 cents per e-mail they send you. This is unusually high for e-mail payments. You get $3 for joining and you also get paid to sign-up for offers. They do have free and trial offers. I have been paid twice from here and you can see my proof of payment Here.

Last, but not least we have Associated Content This site pays you to write short articles. You can write about anything you want and if the article is accepted they will pay you from $3 to $20. But that’s not all. Associated Content will continue to pay you on the article depending on the amount of visitors that read it. So you could be making money from an article for years to come. You can see my proof of payment Here.

These programs I highly recommend. They have proven that they pay and that they are not scams. If you haven’t already, check them out and make some money.

Income Tax Rave?

I know, I know, an income tax rave. How can that be? There’s not much to rave about when comes to income taxes unless it’s a big refund. However I did find out a couple of other things while doing my taxes that I didn’t know about and that might just help some of you get a bigger return this year. They are the “Earned Income Credit (EIC)” and the “Credit for Federal Telephone Excise Tax Paid”.
You can get your EIC if you file a1040 form, your single and did not have a child living with you and you made less than $12,590 or if married, filing jointly and made less than $14,590. If you file a 1040 EZ form, you’re single and did not have a child living with you, you must have made less than $12,120, if married and filing jointly less than $14,120. I made out good here because I was under both forms.
Now the “Federal Telephone Excise Tax Paid” states that you can get credit if you were billed for federal telephone excise tax after February 28, 2003 and before August 1, 2006 on long distance or bundled service, which we all qualify for. You can get either the standard amount or the actual amount.
The Standard amount is $30 if you’re single and did not check any box on line 5 of the tax form, if you’re married, filing jointly and checked only one box on line 5 of the tax form and $40 if you’re married, filing jointly and check no boxes on line 5 of the tax form.
If you want the actual amount of the federal telephone excise tax, you have to fill out and attach form 8913 showing the amount paid. Be sure you have your records to substantiate that amount.
Now, you cannot request a credit if you have already received a credit or a refund from your phone service provider.
I hope this helps some of you get a bigger return this year. I'm no expert and may have missed some information, so be sure to check this information in the instruction books or with a tax expert.

Money Making Blogs Rave

There are quite a few blogs out there about making money online and some of them are quite good. I want to take this time to pay homage to some of the ones that I visit regularly.
There’s “Mike Money Making Mission” where can see how Mike Perry fairs in his mission to earn money online. Mike also gives other insights on the process of making money online. Hey Mike, can a fellow Mike get some link love?

There’s Leesha from London with her ““31 Day Challenge”. This is a fairly new blog and to paraphrase Leesha it’s a 31 day experiment, where she will report how much she has made each day and how. The challenge? To make more tomorrow then she did today. Because it’s a daily update of her earnings, it keeps you coming back to see how she did.

Steve Pavlina, I talked about his blog before and his post ““How to Make Money from Your Blog”. Though very lengthy it is also very informative. Give it a look.

Miriel at ““How to Earn Money Online” also gives us weekly updates on how she’s fairing in the online money making game. She also gives other financial as well as personal insights.

There are other great money making blogs out there, but these are the ones I check on a regular bases. I hope some of you out there are counting this blog as one of the good ones. I may do other post on moneymaking blogs in the future.

E-mailPaysU and CashMoneyE-mail Rave

I joined E-mailPaysU and CashMoneyE-mail a few days ago and it maybe a bit early to be giving them a rave, but two things I’m liking about these programs. One is they seem to send a good amount of two cent e-mails and have other ways you can earn money and points with them. Such as games and paid to sign-up for offers. The second thing I like is, they both give you $10 just for signing up that gets you off to a real good start with them. Both these programs seem to be from the same company. While signing up with E-mailPaysU I was given the chance to sign-up with CashMoneyE-mail at the same time and when I clicked the yes button I didn’t have to anything else, all my information was transferred over to CashMoneyE-mail, even my user name and password. Everything seems good with these two programs so far, but let’s see what happens come payout time.

HYIP Rant

I have seen some blogs lately touting the virtue of making money with HYIPs. HYIP stands for High Yield Investment Program. A word of warning, these are very high-risk programs. You have to invest money to get into these programs and then you get a percentage of the money you invested over several days until you have the money you paid back plus some profit. The problem is must of these programs are scams and they are all ponzie schemes, which is using new money to pay old money and that usually comes to an end at some point. I have done HYIPs and I’ve made money and I’ve lost money, however I’ve lost more then I’ve made. If you do decide to take a risk on HYIPs, remember this golden rule, “Don’t invest more then you can afford to loose”. Check out my article on HYIPs at Associated Content.

Media Dollarz Rave

This past Saturday, I joined a program called Media Dollarz. This is another one of those get paid to sign-up for offers site. The difference here is they also have where you can sign-up to survey sites, which are totally free and you don’t have to make sure you cancel it 7 or 30 days. These sites just send you surveys you can either take or not. Plus you can even get paid from the survey sites for taking the surveys. I joined three survey sites and made $3.90 right away. You are also supposed to get $2.50 for verifying your phone number. However I don’t seem to have gotten that. There is however an extra ninety cents I can’t account for. I’m wondering if because I signed up on a weekend somehow I didn’t get the whole $2.50, I check into that. Okay here’s the best part I withdrew the money to my PayPal account and it was there the same day. I think Media Dollarz is a very good site to join if you’re doing paid for offer programs. Hell, even if you’re not. Here is a screen shot of my payment.
