MyLot Rave 2

I did a rave on MyLot way back in February. Then I had just joined MyLot and didn’t really know the potential for it. For those of you who are not familiar with MyLot, it is a discussion forum that pays you to start discussions, reply them and even to post pictures.

If you are a blogger, I think MyLot is a must to join, not because of the money, because to tell the truth it’s not a lot of money for the time you take. But because of the traffic and exposure it can give your blog. There is almost a hundred thousand people on MyLot that you can expose your blog to. There are a lot of interesting subjects that might give you some ideas for blog posts.

To sum it up, MyLot is a triple win for bloggers. You can get paid for discussing your blog (or whatever), while getting traffic to your blog and getting ideas for posts on your blog from other discussions. If you’re not a member, why not Join?

MyPoints Rave

I have been a member of Mypoints for quite some time now. It was one those things I joined from a paid to join offers site. Since it wasn’t something I to cancel within a certain amount of time, I remained a member and always click their emails and sometimes participated in their surveys. I really don’t care for sites that reward you with points, Id rather have money. So I just half-heartedly participated in this program not doing any thing that took to much time or spending any money buying stuff. But all the while my points were growing and I would tell myself on day I’ll check to see what I can get with these points.

I now have over 5000 points and this weekend my girlfriend talked me into looking at what I could get with those points. Well, I surprise at the places I could redeem my points and get gift cards for. For a little over 3000 points I can get a $25 gift card for Staples, Target, Wal-Mart, Overstock.Com, Circuit City, Sears, Old Navy and a whole lot more.

Since this is a point program I won’t put it in my Weekly Money Update, but after really looking it over I think it’s worthwhile joining. You can redeem points at as low as 500 and you can accumulate points pretty quick.

Blogsvertise Payment Rave

I like announcing payments. When an opportunity that I am in pays I want everybody to know because if someone is in one of these opportunities, but hasn’t been paid yet and might be wondering if this program actually pays, this shows them that it does. There might even be people out there that are thinking about joining one of these programs and want to make sure they pay before they join. Well, this is their proof.

Well, this is beginning to become a habit, a very good habit. Yesterday I received two more payments from programs I am in.

I received a payment from Hits4Pay, the first I have received from them and I got a 4th payment from PayPerPost. I must say PayPerPost has quickly become my favorite opportunity. It’s was a long wait to get that first payment, you keep doing reviews for them and once the payments start they just keep coming. Reno 911 Movie DVD Rave

Have you ever seen the Comedy Central comedy series Reno 911? If you have you know have racy, politically incorrect and funny it is. Well, the series has nothing on Reno 911! Miami The Movie. It is outrageously funny. They have now released the DVD and get this, it is unrated. Oh my goodness. Can you imagine what is on this thing? How far will they go now?

Here’s the basics. The Reno team goes to Miami for a convention. Because of some biological contamination the Reno team are the only law enforcement left to protect the city. Did I say protect? It’s more like destroy it. If you’ve seen the TV series you know exactly what I mean only take it up a notch. The Suge Night and the whale on the beach scene are my favorites. I laughed myself to tears.

The Reno 911! Miami The Movie DVD also has games on it. For writing a post about the DVD I was able to play any of 4 games. I chose to play the Midnight Shootout game. I chose this game because as I guy I love shooting stuff. The game puts you in different scenes and allows you to see where different people are before the screen goes completely black. You have to remember where the criminals are and shoot them without shooting cops or innocent bystanders.
I was doing pretty good until the end of the game when they give you a rocket launcher to shoot into the city were a gang is. Well, much like a team member of Reno 911, I pretty much destroyed the place, but I had fun.

Anyway, whether you missed it at the theaters or you saw it you just have to get the Reno 911! Miami The Movie DVD.

Another Payment Rave

I’ve said this before, but I love looking in my email and seeing that I have money, especially unexpected money. I don’t care big or small it is, I just love getting it.

Today again I was surprised to see I had money in my PayPal account. This time from Associated Content, from a referral no less. I have about 8 referrals at Associated Content and this is the first payment I’ve gotten for any of them. The rest just don’t seem to be doing anything.

I’ve been paid several times from Associated Content for Articles I’ve written and I am now glad to see that you can be paid from your referrals, now to see if I can get a bonus payment.

Burn Notice Rave

This doesn’t have anything to do with making money, but it does have to do with what you would do if you needed money. Okay, you’re stranded in a city you know nothing about with no money or resources. How would you eat, sleep or survive from the weather? The first thing I would do is get the easiest job there is to get and that’s at a fast food restaurant that would take care of my food and money at once. I would then befriend an employee there giving them a sob story and asking if could stay at their place for a few days until I found something. There is always a good hearted person in these places. Now I have a place to sleep and get out of the weather. I know it’s not a very exciting scenario, but it’s what I would do.

However, in the new USA Network's Burn Notice CIA Operative, Michael Weston deals with a similar situation in a very different and exciting way.

Michael Weston gets a Burn Notice while on assignment, which basically means he gets fired. His bank accounts are frozen and his credit is trashed. He needs money and there aren't many jobs that fit the skills of a CIA agent. So Michael decides to become a private investigator. He helps people while trying to find out the reason for his sudden termination.

Like most of USA’s original series, this looks like it will be exciting and humorous. It also co-stars one of my favorite humorous character actors, Bruce Campbell.

USA has proven to me that they really know how to make original series with shows like Monk, Psych, The 4400 and The Dead Zone so Thursday June 28 at 10:00 I will be watching USA Network's Burn Notice. How about you?

Well, one was Blogvertise. I was expecting a payment from them today. I haven’t had much action from them and wondered if they really pay. Now I know they do.

Referral Trade Rave

One of the best ways to make money from the money-making opportunities you are in, is to have referrals. I have some referrals for most of the opportunities I am in, but the two that really showed how valuable referrals can be are Media Dollarz and Hits4Pay.

As I mentioned in this weeks update, which you can see two post below, I was surprised to see that I had money in my Media Dollarz account since I had not worked it in awhile, but the money was from referrals that I didn’t even know I had. With Hits4Pay, my referrals helped me make my payout quicker. So as you can see referrals can be very helpful in making money with money making opportunities.

Now, what I want to purpose is a referral trade. I will list the opportunities I want referrals for. If you see an opportunity that you think you would like to join leave a comment with your contact info and letting me know the opportunity or opportunities you want to join. Then tell me the opportunities you what referrals for. If I see something I like and I’m not a member of already, I will contact you to do the trade. When you join one or more of these opportunities under me, let me know the user name you joined under and I will then join your opportunity and give you my user name for verification.

This will be a win, win for both parties. Not only will we have another referral, but also another opportunity to make money from.

Auction Ads: This is like Google Adsense for auctions. You put their code on your site and they display relevant auction ads. You can see mine at the top of this page. They pay $5 to join and payout is $10.

I Love PayPerPost Rave

I’ve been a member of PayPerPost for about a month now and I love it. Why do I love PayPerPost you ask? Because they pay me for doing what I have already been doing for free, writing blog posts. And HERE’s proof that they pay. I will have payments coming in every few days now.

You write reviews about advertisers you find at PayPerPost and get paid for it. It’s almost like ads on TV, but this is ads on blogs. I’ve done seven reviews for them and all but one has been approved so far and I’m waiting to hear about that one.

I think this is a great way to make money if you’re a blogger. As a blogger you’re writing post anyway and sometimes you might even find it hard to think of something to write about. Well, here’s a way to have something to write about and get paid at the same time.
There are usually plenty of opportunities to write about at and although you may not qualify for a lot of them when you first join, there seems to always be a good number of them you will qualify for. It’s a matter of picking something that fits your blog. Or maybe you don’t care if it fits your blog or not. Maybe you just want to make the money. That’s okay, it’s up to you.

There are people making some good money at PayPerPost. You could be one of them, I know I plan to be.

Bloggers, if you have a blog that’s 90 days old or more and you post to it regularly, why not get paid to blog.

Weekly Money Update #13

Last week I went to check Media Dollarz to see if they had anything that I could make some money from and to my surprise their was money in my account. I had all but given up on Media Dollarz because most of the things I would join there I have already joined. It seems the money I had in my account was from my referrals, which I didn’t even know I had. Well, I withdrew the money and sure enough a few hours later it was in my PayPal account. See proof of payment HERE. What’s great about Media Dollarz is there is no minimum you need to withdraw, just whatever’s in you account.

I’m a day late with update this week, but because of that I am able to add the first of several PayPerPost payments to the paid list. See proof of payment HERE. I should be receiving payments from them every few days. I have other payments coming in from other pay to review sites also.

Hits4Pay corrected whatever mistake they made and subtracted the $10 from my total that was there after the cash out. This week is what I now have pending there.
