The Million Anything Rant

It seems to me that any site or idea with Million in the name becomes very popular and very profitable. Look at sites like “The Million Dollar Homepage”, Million Dollar Wiki”, “The Million Dollar Challenge” and other million dollar ideas. A site called “The Million Euro Wiki”, sold for good money a week or so after it was started.
What I don’t understand is what is the fascination with the word Million? Do people think if they get involved with something that has million in the title that they will somehow get an over spill of the million the other person is trying to make?
I guess a million of something has always fascinated us. Look at the “Million Man March” then there was “The Million Women March”. Even though a million dollars isn’t as much as it use to be most of use would strive to get it.
I guess another way you can make money online is to come up with something original with “Million” in the name and you’ll have a winner.
