SponsoredReviews now has an affiliate program that bloggers can now make money from. You can earn up to $175 per advertiser you get to sign-up and $5 per blogger you sign-up.

I have been a member of SponsoredReviews and promoting it in my weekly updates for awhile now. I don’t know if anyone has signed up from that, but I do know that even if they did I wouldn’t have gotten any credit for it. So this new referral is great. It’ll be nice to get credit for the work you do.

Another good thing about the referral program is that for the bloggers you refer you get paid once they have an approved blog in the system not when the blogger has an approved post like some other paid to blog sites. Referral payouts will be made once a month.

Sweeney Todd Rave

The mad man of movies is at it again. December 21st Tim Burtons’ movie, “Sweeney Todd” will be in theaters and if you are familiar with Tim Burtons’ work you can believe it will be off beat and out side of the box.

The story of Sweeney Todd has been told for years and is basically a story of revenge. A good man is falsely imprisoned and during his imprisonment he becomes a different man. An evil man, a man bent on revenge. They say revenge is good for the soul. I know if someone does something against me I want revenge.

I remember back when I was in High School a group of guys jump me and a friend, but because we fought back the guys ended the attack. My friend however ended up with a bloody nose. Both me and my friend wanted revenge and I happened to have known where one of the guys lived. We went to the guys house the next day and long story short we ended up fighting the whole family. The guy his father and mother. The father managed to get away from my friend who was fighting him and got a gun. He told us to leave and needless to say we did.

Google Giveth And Google Taketh Away Rant

Well, a few weeks ago I was happy to see that Google had finally came out with the Page rank updates. I finally got a ranking for my That Says It All blog and this blog was upgraded from a PR 1 to a PR 2.

To my surprise however a couple of weeks later I find that this blog is now rank a PR 0. I was also surprised to find that that down grade maybe due to doing paid reviews. Does Google not want us to make money this way? Doing paid reviews is the way I make most of my money from this blog. It certainly isn’t from the Google ads.

The lower page rank won’t stop me from making money from this blog, but it will lower it. I guess now that my other blog is ranked a PR 2 it will just have to take up the slack.

Paid To Blog Approval Rant

When my blog, That Says It All had finally got a Google Page rank, I was delighted. I figured now I can sign it up for some more paid to blog sites and increase my earnings and that did happen with some of the paid to blog sites.

But the two paid to blog sites that are the most active have yet to approve or deny That Says It All. It’s been almost a month already I have yet to hear anything from Blogitive or PayPerPost about this blog.

I waited a long time to get a ranking from Google for That Says It All and when I finally did and felt that now I can start making a little more money with it, I find myself waiting again.

My First Squidoo Lens, A Mild Rave

Well, I have just finished making my first Squidoo Lens, All About Female Superheroes. I hope is to get traffic to my Female Superheroes Poster Prints sites and hopefully make some sales. I also understand you can make money from the ads that are on the Lens.

Since this is my first Squidoo Lens, I still have a lot to learn about them, but I do plan to make more Lenses. I guess it’s all about letting the world know about it now and this is my first step.

Make Money With Niche Sites Rave

I have been thinking lately of building some niche web sites and blogs as a way of making money online. What you would do is find a niche phrase that has high traffic and low competition and build your site around that.

Vat19 Rave

I, like everyone else like getting free stuff. I order to do this post I received some pretty cool free stuff from Vat19. The photo at the left is the stuff I received. They include a gourmet-scented pencil, colored candles and Insta Snow, fake snow powder. I’m not quite sure what to do with the Insta Snow, but the pencil and the candles I can use.

As an artist my favorite item is the gourmet-scented pencil. They have a variety of different scents. The one I got was “Very Berry” and it made drawing for me even more fun smelling that sweet berry smell as I was drawing. The colored candles, as I understand it actually have colored flames. One of my nieces’ birthday is later this month and I think it will be fun to use the candles at her party.
